Job Description:
|
To contribute to organizational effectiveness in the achievement of operational objectives through the assessment and continued development of leadership personnel. To contribute to ongoing development of management associates in alignment with Advocate MVP, Advancing Excellence and system/site strategic initiatives. To contribute to effective management selection through leadership succession planning. Accountabilities: 1. Assesses, coaches and develops new and current managers in alignment with Advocate MVP, system initiatives, Advancing Excellence and the changing health care business environment to ensure effective operations and the achievement of strategic objectives. 2. Assists in the assessment of site leadership capability and developmental needs. 3. Assists Senior Management in identifying appropriate leaders to participate in organizational development opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and build ACMC bench strength. 4. Consults with site leadership on organizational design and position descriptions in planning reengineering/restructuring initiatives 5. Supports ongoing and appropriate leadership succession planning. Works with potential successors to ensure their readiness and development. 6. Advises in the selection of management applicants to enhance site and systemwide management capability, foster diversity, and facilitate cross-system movement. 7. Maintains exceptional working relationships with site leadership, site HR staff and support center HR staff to ensure customer satisfaction and positive relationships.
